The perfect course for any student with a passion for theatre, English Through Acting enables students to develop their understanding of English language, acting and spoken performance. Following a series of engaging and varied lessons, our students are provided with an exciting opportunity to collaborate on theatrical performances and receive a recognised Trinity certificate at the end of their stay.
During the course, our English Through Acting students will encounter a breadth of different performance techniques and explore movement, voice and acting skills, all through interactive and dynamic classroom-based workshops. In each class students are fully active in spoken English, enabling them to build on their English language fluency throughout their stay.
As part of our Time to Shine programme, students will participate in a group performance at the end of the course, graded by an external Trinity examiner and performed in the beautiful Canford School Theatre. This performance will build their confidence both as actors and as users of English. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a recognised Trinity Performance Certificate in Acting and Speaking.
By the end of the course, our English Through Acting students will leave with enhanced acting and performance techniques, a recognised acting certificate and a nurtured sense of confidence and creativity. The course also provides an innovative approach to language learning, enabling students to return home with developed fluency and accuracy in using English.
